Returns & Fitting Policy – Buy Carpet

At BuyCarpet.co.uk, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and fitting experience. Please read the following information carefully before placing your order.

🏠 Fitting Policy

We offer a professional carpet fitting service through our network of trusted, independent fitters.

Before Fitting:
    •    Please ensure the area is clean, clear, and ready for fitting.
    •    If you need your old flooring removed, this must be arranged in advance (additional charges may apply).
    •    Fitters may refuse to install if the subfloor is uneven, wet, or unsuitable.

During Fitting:
    •    Fitters will install your carpet to a professional standard, ensuring it’s secure, smooth, and neatly finished.
    •    Please check the carpet and confirm you’re happy before the fitter leaves.

After Fitting:
    •    If you notice any issues with the fitting, please contact us within 48 hours of installation.
    •    We will work with the fitter to resolve any issues promptly.

Please note: fitting services are non-refundable once completed, unless a clear fault or issue is identified with the workmanship.

📦 Return Policy

We take great care to ensure you receive the correct products in perfect condition.

Returns:
    •    You may return most products within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided they are unused, uncut, and in their original packaging.
    •    As all carpets are cut to your requested measurements, they are classed as custom products.
    •    We can only accept returns for carpets that are faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.

Faulty or Damaged Goods:
    •    If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
    •    Send photos and details to buycarpetsales@gmail.com
    •    We’ll arrange a replacement or refund once the issue has been assessed.

Cancellations:
    •    Orders can be cancelled before cutting or processing begins.
    •    Once the carpet has been cut to size, cancellation is no longer possible.

Refunds:
    •    Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 working days after inspection.

Return Shipping:
    •    For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
    •    For faulty or incorrect items, we cover all return costs.
