Shipping & Delivery Policy – Buy Carpet

At BuyCarpet.co.uk, we aim to make your carpet buying experience smooth and hassle-free. This policy explains how we handle delivery — whether you’ve chosen fitting or just carpet delivery.

🚚 Delivery with Fitting

If you’ve booked our professional fitting service, delivery is automatically included in your fitting package.

Here’s how it works:
    •    Your carpet will be delivered by your fitter on the day of installation.
    •    There’s no separate delivery charge for fitted orders.
    •    Our fitting team will ensure your carpet is transported, handled, and installed carefully.
    •    You don’t need to be home for a separate delivery — your fitter will bring everything with them.

Please note: delivery and fitting dates will be arranged together to suit your schedule.

📦 Delivery Without Fitting

If you’ve purchased carpet without fitting, we’ll arrange courier delivery to your address.

Delivery Details:
    •    Standard delivery time: 3–7 working days.
    •    You’ll receive tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
    •    Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm.
    •    Carpets are rolled and wrapped for protection.
    •    Couriers deliver to your doorstep or ground floor only.

💷 Delivery Charges
    •    Standard courier delivery: £50
    •    Free delivery on orders over £500
    •    If you’ve selected fitting, delivery is free and included in the fitting service.

🗓️ Coordinating Delivery & Fitting
    •    When you book a fitting, we’ll contact you to confirm a mutually convenient date.
    •    If you’ve arranged your own fitter, we recommend waiting until your carpet has been delivered and inspected before confirming fitting.
    •    We’ll always do our best to ensure your carpet arrives on or before your fitting date.

⚠️ Missed Deliveries

If you’re unavailable when a courier delivery is attempted:
    •    The courier will leave a calling card or attempt re-delivery.
    •    Re-delivery charges may apply for failed attempts.

🧾 Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please check your carpet upon delivery.
If it’s damaged or incorrect:
    1.    Take photos of the issue
    2.    Contact us within 48 hours at [insert your business email]
We’ll arrange a replacement or refund quickly.

🚫 Delivery Delays

We aim to meet all delivery timeframes, but occasionally delays occur due to courier or supplier issues. If this happens, we’ll update you as soon as possible.
